Men's 20 European ChampionshipAfter the Women's 17 European Championship in summer 2005, Austria once again hosts one of the EHF Younger Age Category events - this time the Men’s 20 ECh taking place in Innsbruck from 10 to 19 August 2006.
The matches of the qualification groups were played from 14 to 16 April 2006. Apart from Serbia Montenegro and Croatia, who directly qualified for the final tournament from the 2004 M 18 ECh, 13 teams have qualified for the final tournament along with Austria as organiser.
The draw for the final tournament will be held on Friday, 28 April 2006, at 12.30 hrs. at the Olympia World Innsbruck, VIP room level C.
The M20 draw event will be frameworked by a show programme and an official press conference will take place immediately afterwards.

Press Conference 26 April 2006
On Wednesday 26 April the Austrian Handball Federation gives a press conference in Hotel Intercontinental in Vienna (AUT), where the Austrian federation will give further details on the draw for the 2006 Men's 20 European Championship and the application for the 2010 Men's European Championhips. The press conference starts at 10.30 a.m.
