La tradicional Eugen Haas Halle será el escenario del partido
24/02/06 03:00 h.Si alguien conoce bien al rival del Bidasoa-Irún en la Copa EHF ese es Iñigo Pereña, el director técnico del equipo irundarra. Pereña se mueve por todo el mercado internacional, es una de sus funciones en el club y, por supuesto, no se le escapa la gran calidad del Gummerbach alemán, uno de los tradicionalmente grandes de este deporte a nivel europeo.
Para el director técnico del Bidasoa-Irún, el rival en esta eliminatoria lo tiene todo. “Para empezar un presupuesto de 4,5 millones de euros lo que significa cuatro veces más que el nuestro. Sólo por esto y por los jugadores que cada club tiene en su plantilla, los favoritos está claro que son ellos”. El Gummerbach cuenta con una amplia colección de internacionales con sus respectivos países, lo que le otorga una calidad fuera del alcance del Bidasoa-Irún a priori. Según Pereña “tienen una experiencia al máximo nivel muy importante”.
En el deporte de élite los presupuestos lo son prácticamente todo. En este sentido, el Gummerbach ha pasado de tener un presupuesto de 1,8 millones de euros en 2001 al actual de 4,5. Por si fuera poco, se ha trasladado de cancha a la hora de disputar los partidos como local. Su escenario para los partidos es el KolnArena (Colonia Arena), ya que se han mudado a la ciudad de Colonia, mucho más grande que Gummerbach y no excesivamente lejos, a unos 40 kilómetros. El KolnArena dispone de una gran capacidad ya que entran unos 20.000 aficionados, aunque para esta eliminatoria volverán a jugar en su recinto de toda la vida, es decir en la vieja jaula del Eugen Haas Halle, donde sólo caben 2.500, ya que en Colonia está previsto un concierto de rock de alto 'standing'. Por cierto, hace poco se batió el récord de asistencia a un partido de balonmano en este recinto con motivo de un choque entre el Gummerbach y el Kiel, cita a la que asistieron 19.575 personas.
Iñigo Pereña afirma que “jugamos contra un equipo grande en la historia, que ha ganado cinco Copas de Europa y uno de los gallos económicos actuales, que cuenta con un proyecto deportivo en el que el entrenador será Alfred Gislasson a partir de la próxima temporada y que quiere volver al más alto nivel”.
Para que el aficionado tenga un conocimiento exacto del potencial de esta escuadra alemana, Pereña realiza una comparativa con la Liga Asobal y dice que “en Alemania el Flensburg, Kiel y Gummerbach serían el Ciudad Real, Portland y Barcelona de nuestra liga, mientras que el Ademar sería comparable al Magdeburgo. Este puede ser un poco el baremo”.
La perla coreana
Responde al nombre de Kyung-Shin Yoon y es la gran estrella del Gummerbach. Iñigo Pereña lo destaca por encima de todos. “Es el jugador emblema, el buque insignia de este equipo y lleva ya seis temporadas con ellos siendo siempre uno de los mejores goleadores de la Bundesliga. Para mí es el más carismático en estos momentos de todo el equipo”.
El papel del Bidasoa-Irún
En cuanto al Bidasoa-Irún , tras su empate en Artaleku viaja a Alemania quizá como víctima. Al menos ese es el papel que tiene asignado en esta eliminatoria. Según Pereña “es difícil la sorpresa, nos hemos colocado un poco en el papel de víctimas, aunque luego siempre hay que jugar los partidos. Lo que más me puede preocupar es que los alemanes rompan muy pronto el encuentro y que nosotros nos dejemos ir. Sin embargo, no he visto mal al equipo en los últimos encuentros por lo que si defendemos fuerte, ellos lo hacen siempre, y vigilamos el contraataque que tan bien lo practican, les haremos frente mejor”.
En cuanto a las posibles claves de esta eliminatoria, el director técnico del Bidasoa-Irún lo deja claro: “Ambos equipos nos amparamos en la defensa, a partir de ahí si queremos estar a la altura debemos de repartir porque ellos nos van a dar. Después jugar con paciencia y hacer ataques largos para no entrar en el ritmo que a ellos les convienen”.
Por último, un resultado bueno sería según Iñigo Pereña “perder por menos de cinco goles. Si logramos esto la vuelta en Artaleku nos puede deparar un duelo muy interesante”

El croata, con una oferta del RK Zagreb, ha solicitado al club que aplace su renovación

Mirza Dzomba está cumpliendo su segunda temporada en el BM Ciudad Real, club con el que está ligado hasta la próxima campaña, 2006-2007. La entidad ciudadrealeña le ha ofrecido recientemente ampliar este contrato por dos o tres campañas más, posibilidad a la que el extremo croata se ha negado, de momento, a pesar de que su representante, el ex jugador Magaglja, le aconsejara continuar en el club manchego.
De hecho, al ser preguntado, Dzomba prefirió no desvelar nada sobre su futuro a medio plazo, reiterando un «no sé nada todavía» del que se podían extraer varias interpretaciones.
La razón de esta indecisión responde a que Mirza Dzomba está meditando su marcha de Ciudad Real una vez concluya su actual contrato, el próximo ejercicio. El jugador, que está a punto de cumplir los 29 años (28-02-1977, Rijeka), se está planteando volver a Croacia donde le espera su familia, sus negocios y una tentadora oferta del RK Zagreb, antiguo Badel 1862 con el que debutó en la Copa de Europa en 1997.
Lo que sí tiene muy claro el extremo zurdo es que aún le resta un año de contrato con el BM Ciudad Real, donde se encuentra «muy bien», y que lo desea cumplir, pero «nada más».
La posición de Mirza Dzomba la ha respetado el club, sin ‘forzar’ una situación que conocerá su final al término de la presente temporada, en el mes de mayo.
Como explicó el director deportivo del club, José Antonio Revilla, «hemos intentado negociar ahora la ampliación de su contrato pero nos ha pedido por favor que dejemos el tema hasta el final de la temporada, y eso es lo que haremos».
CAMBIO DE PLANES. La posibilidad de que Mirza Dzomba abandone el BM Ciudad Real en 2007 trastoca los plantes del club, que confía en apuntalar este extremo zurdo con la renovación del croata y la contratación de un suplente joven pero con proyección, como es el francés Luc Avalo. Ahora, conocida la indecisión del titular en el ala derecha, el club se ve obligado a guardarse las espaldas para que la posible marcha del croata no le coja en ‘fuera de juego’. Sin embargo, el director deportivo prefiere pensar en positivo y apostar por su continuidad.

El Portland ha ofrecido tres años de contrato a Kristian Kjelling
El noruego hará oficial en los próximos días su marcha del Ademar al finalizar la temporada

Fue el gran protagonista del último partido del Ademar. A falta de menos de diez segundos tuvo en sus manos el penalti que hubiese dado la victoria al equipo leonés en la cancha del Algeciras. Sin embargo, el lateral noruego Kristian Kjelling, falló ese lanzamiento y los leoneses tuvieron que volverse con un empate.
Fue protagonista en el terreno de juego y en estos momentos también lo es en los despachos. En los próximos días, Kjelling hará oficial su marcha del Ademar al finalizar esta temporada. Su destino es el Portland San Antonio, que ha hecho una apuesta decidida por él para «arrebatárselo» al Barcelona.
Kjelling, que ha regresado de Noruega con una lesión en su mano derecha, cree que el reto del Ademar en estos momentos es el de mostrarse como un equipo regular, sin altibajos, como el Ademar del comienzo de la pasada temporada.
En todo caso, tras esta pequeña decepción, el Ademar tiene ahora por delante en el calendario liguero dos compromisos donde teóricamente debe vencer sin excesivas complicaciones, pues se enfrenta a los colistas de la Asobal.
