Mit Verlaub: Falsche Frage, vielleicht weil ich "village of Gairloch" stehen ließ. Civil parish of Gairloch ist eine fächenmäßig ausgedehnte Gemeinde mit mehreren kleineren Siedlungen. Straßennamen gibt es in denen nicht, man kennt sich. Suche mal im Umkreis von Gairloch!

Weiter geht's ...

Gairloch und Ullapool kenne ich ganz gut. Neulich flog ich mal mit g.earth die Strecke ab, wegen der Schiffstanke am Loch Ewe, an die ich mich erinnerte. Dabei fand ich die Speichertanks im Hinterland, die dazu gehörigen ehemaligen Flakstellungen von Tournaig, die Rückzugsplätze der Atom-U-Boote und nebenbei auch die besagte Distille. Der eigene Whisky dort sei recht crude, die Bar dagegen umso besser. Vielleicht lohnt es sich deshalb, dort mal vorbeizuschauen.
Auch dort ist nicht alles Idylle, auch wenn es auf den ersten Blick so aussieht.
