Anti-Doping: Player suspensions
In the fight against doping, different member federations suspended players who had taken prohibited substances. You may read below the sentences passed.CYP - Gregoriou Christos - (Cannabis) - Suspension: 9 months (from 7 April 2005 to 6 January 2006) from national, international, friendly or official matches
FRA - Thierry Populaire - (Salbutamol) - Suspension: the first 10 official competition days 2005/2006: from 3 September 2005 to 13 November or 27 November 2005
FRA - Damien Ragozzino - (Cannabis) - Suspension: one-year suspension to compete from April 9/10, 2005 to April 9/10, 2006
The responsible IHF bodies have approved these disciplinary measures and point out that the sanctions shall apply accordingly to the entire field of activities of the International Handball Federation.
